I've been knitting and crocheting since I was a little girl. My grandmother taught me how to crochet and I taught myself how to knit, but I never thought I'd ever make it past making scarves!
When I got pregnant with my first baby, I decided to pick up knitting and crocheting again, but decided I wanted to venture off into making other things! However, after she was born life got hectic and my craftiness got set aside. Finally, one day I decided that I wanted to try selling my handmade items, and here we are!
The boutique was originally called Nani Knots. Nani is my daughter's nickname that also means beautiful in Hawaiian. I thought to put it next to the word "knots" since kitting and crocheting consist of knots and everything you make is beautiful. Hence, Nani Knots was born.
Update: With the year 2014, I wanted to be able to push my creativity to the limit. I wanted to have a fun boutique name that I thought would stand out. On the whim, I decided that "This Ninja Crochets" would be born. I mean. let's face it. I'm a wife, a mother, and your everyday ninja!
